Our staff is unique in their ability to identify work related conditions and to implement preventive strategies through a comprehensive approach. We conduct detailed and targeted medical assessments for occupational and environmental exposures. Our affiliation with Stony Brook Medical Center enables us to access the latest diagnostic tests and treatments. We are also available to assist in case management when multiple medical specialists are involved. LIOEHC provides social support services and referrals for its patients. We assist in the preparation of Workers' Compensation claims. When necessary, LIOEHC staff will testify at Workers' Compensation hearings.
